Per the GPS we travelled 3300 miles. Now, the GPS went on the Grand Canyon Shuttle and the Verde Canyon Railroad, but that doesn't really account for 800+ miles, so we're thinking the GPS got a little goofy somewhere...
We used about 114.302 gallons of gas (because we filled up this afternoon after we'd run a bunch of errands around town and I don't have the exact numbers from that fill up in front of me so I just added about 13 gallons from today's about 14 gallon fill-up to the total.)
So that means about 21.618 mpg average, but you tell me where could we have flown a family of five for $457 and then had budget for a rental car or taxis and buses?
